The students have the opportunity to better themselves in Dance Class. Incorporating a fitness unit is a great way to get students thinking about a healthy lifestyle. I feel that I can provide quality instruction for my students.
I want students to realize that living a healthy lifestyle starts with taking care of their bodies.
I can teach the students how to make lifestyle changes to lead to a better life. Integrating Health and Dance Fitness into my curriculum assists students in learning how to use physical activity to the best of their abilities. Students can learn to use exercise equipment properly and efficiently. The weights will be used to strengthen and develop their muscles, and the steps will be used to gain endurance. Integrating exercise into my Dance Classes can provide a variety of ways to learn how to physically care for themselves. Students will have the opportunity to take what they learn in Dance Class and apply it to working out at home.
